We're planting trees for Earth Day 2023
This year's Earth Day is being celebrated under the theme 'Invest in Our Planet'. Sustainability is something that we care deeply about at Priority Recruitment, so we have decided to take action.
On the 22nd of April - Earth Day - which happens to be the 111th day of the year, we planted 111 trees in Maroalika, Madagascar, in support of an initiative run by Eden Reforestation Projects.
From this Earth Day onwards, we are committed to planting a tree for every placement we make at Priority Recruitment.
In addition to this, we continue to uphold our existing commitments towards being a sustainable business through a variety of actions, including:
- Encouraging our employees to use public transport, cycle or walk for their daily commute.
- Recycling all waste generated in our office.
- Minimising the use of paper and opting for recycled materials when necessary.
- Promoting energy efficiency.
- Providing regular training and raising awareness on how we can make a positive impact on our planet.
