Anthony & Kieron dive into Manchester Canal 55Km

Supporting We Love Manchester Emergency Fund & Winstons Wish

Following on from Priority Recruitments commitment to support Winstons Wish and the tragic events in our home town of Manchester, two of our team will be taking on a challenge far greater (and longer) than they gave ever faced!

Pure Challenge say that "prior preparation will be key to your success on the event" with a 55KM (34 miles) course "Starting in the small town of Sowerby Bridge, you will trek the 55k following mainly the Rochdale canal through the Pennine hills, this is a relatively flat route giving a fantastic view of the Pennine’s without having to trek high into the hills. The event will finish in Manchester City Centre close to Piccadilly Train Station."

This is genuinely a significant challenge to both Anthony Dillon (Automotive Division) & Kieron Smithson (Retail Division), who will be implementing a significant training program to ensure success, meaning lots of time away from family.  Currently Anthony is targetting "5 hours or less" whereas Kieron is "just looking to survive".
