The role involves personal care and peg feeding and supporting her in her day-to-day life.

We are searching for Support Workers who share our belief that disability is not a barrier and doesn’t have to stop anyone from living their best life and enjoying new and varied experiences.

Essential Requirements:

Experience in complex care and paediatric support (children) is essential for this role.

  • Competitive pay rates: £17 per hour during the week and £19 per hour at the weekends.
  • Permanent employment option available after a trial period.

  • Weekly pay.

  • Access to 30,000+ national and local employee discounts (electronics, home appliances, food, groceries, car buying, travel, fitness and more).
  • Access to 100+ free virtual courses, live and on-demand, to improve your skills and aid self-development.
  • Refer a friend scheme – you can earn up to £500 per referral!
Client and Role:
  • Supporting the client in her own home.
  • Our client lives with a brain injury and bilateral cerebral palsy, generalised hypertonia, dystonic movement disorder, microcephaly, and visual impairment and is dependent on gastrostomy feeding.
  • She enjoys going out in her buggy and going to the playground at the park. She has a sensory trolley and fibre optics which she enjoys engaging with.
  • The client is dependent on her parents and current support workers for all of her needs. She has a clinical team including a paediatric occupational therapist, a paediatric physiotherapist and a speech and language therapist that you will be expected to support in implementing their recommended treatment programmes with our client.
  • Personal care will be involved as well as peg feeding.
