Job Title: Support Worker
Location: Blackpool
Pay rate: £12 - £14 per hour
Job Type: Temp-to-perm, 34 hours per week
Split shifts:
Monday to Friday morning shift: 7am - 9am
Afternoon shift: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 3:30pm - 9pm 
More hours available at term time 

Priority Recruitment is excited to present this brand-new opportunity for a Support Worker in Blackpool.
This is an excellent opportunity to support a young individual in her own home. The client lives with cerebral palsy and the role would include supporting her in day-to-day activities, including days out, or trips to the cinema.
We are searching for Support Workers who share the belief that disability is not a barrier, and it doesn’t have to stop anyone from living their best life and enjoying new and varied experiences.
 
Salary & Benefits:

Client and Role:
  • The client is a young individual living with cerebral palsy. The role is supporting her at her own home.
  • She likes to use her iPad, watch TV, and play with her two dogs.
  • The role will involve driving the family car to transport the client, so a full, clean driving license is essential.
  • The activities might involve days out, interacting with the community, or trips to the cinema.
 
Successful Applicant:
  • Must be able to drive to use the client’s car to get them to appointments.
  • Must have at least 6 months of previous experience in healthcare.
  • Previous experience dealing with cerebral palsy or learning difficulties is desirable.
