B2B Telesales Account Manager

Basic salary £18-20K+ Bonus

A position has been created within this fresh & dynamic business, securely backed by a stable well-established parent company, in addition to ongoing success they have been able to significantly increase their product portfolio & scope therefore are looking to expand the team to capitalise on this.  With market leading products generating significant inbound interest, we are looking for a B2B Telesales advisor, able account manager existing accounts whilst taking the brand and products to market and growing the customer porfolio. 

B2B Telesales – Job Role:

  • Utilise the inhouse systems to accurately and effectively process sales in a compliant manner
  • Maximise sales by up-selling other products from the portfolio
  • Stay up to date with customer requirements, utilising CRM for effective contact points
  • Upsell and cross sell services and product portfolio throughout the active base
  • Deliver market leading customer service
  • Utilise the existing customer base to generate sales
  • Utilise rapport to build strong & lasting customer relationships
  • Able to balance the needs of call volume targets and the need to complete paperwork & deliver great service
  • Be the point of escalation for customer queries, owning that problem through to resolution

It may be necessary to meet with customers at their business locations and attend trade shows, therefore the successful candidate will need to drive & have transport.  

Experience & personality traits required:

  • Flexible, hardworking attitude
  • Must have a “thick skin” and robust attitude, able to cope with setbacks and move forwards
  • Demonstrable track record of excelling in telesales &/or account management 
  • Excellent communication (written & verbal) and listening skills
  • Lack of phone fear, must be able to pickup phone and make calls
  • Self-starter, able to motivate self without someone on your shoulder
  • Able to communicate at all corporate levels, developing business opportunities with other areas of this business
  • Team player, whilst also ability to operate independently, making commercial business decisions as needed
  • Ability to display and provide examples of skills in negotiation, communication, active listening and a sound commercial acumen.
  • In addition, knowledge of eBay & other ecommerce platforms would be beneficial albeit not essential for the right candidate
