Are you a Shift Manager or Assistant manager or Store Manager who is looking to join a fast paced, fun and exciting Global QSR/fast food outlet in Birmingham? B42

This rewarding and demanding environment requires a driven and hands on Assistant Manager, Store Manager, Supervisor,  or Shift Manager who is looking for a new challenge within one of the most prominent fast food establishments worldwide in Birmingham.

You will be required to manage all operational duties of the store by managing and directing the workforce, making staffing decisions, product quality, driving customer service, managing the store's financial performance and maximising the store's profitability.

Hours & Benefits: 

  • Hours: 5-6 days out of 7 with flexibility as the business may require

Responsibilities include: 

  • Illustrating a high level of customer service
  • Train and motivate staff
  • Provide coaching and direction to new staff members
  • Recruit, reward and terminate staff as needed
  • Manage store staffing levels
  • Monitoring and maximising the stores profitability
  • Promote and advertise the store to generate sales
  • Supports local and national marketing initiatives.
  • All financial controls - GP, P&L, KPIs, budgeting, forecasting & waste/labour control
  • Efficient ordering of stock with suppliers
  • Attend all management meetings
  • Regularly inspect equipment and fixtures both inside and outside

Person specification: 

  • Good leadership skills and staff training/motivation
  • Previous working background in managing or supervising of staff (minimum of 2 years) within the Fast food/restaurant/food chain/public house/catering or retail Industry
  • Ability to solve problems as they arise and multi task
  • Comfortable working to agreed objectives
  • Ability to read and interpret financial figures
  • Good time management
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Quick and enthusiastic learner
  • Keen, hardworking and professional character
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • IT literate – word and excel

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum A-Levels (or equivalent) or Business related Degree (preferable)
  • Qualifications or equivalent within the food Industry is helpful for this role
