The Role:

As a Senior Finance Manager, you will work closely with different business units, helping to establish management reporting, monthly management accounts, you will be responsible for building divisional budgets and forecasts, taking into account current and future strategy of each division, and managing the day-to-day financial activity.

They're scaling the company and are looking for someone who can step up and help build out our accounting operations, controls, and reporting. This role can lead you towards a senior leadership role once all of the milestones are achieved.

Main areas:

Define and build financial operations, internal control, and risk management systems - defining processes, metrics for financial operations, and cooperate with team leaders in developing financial rules and risk management policies

Scale processes for continued growth - improve and upgrade financial processes, to identify control deficiencies, improve cashflow efficiency, evaluate risk implications and implement possible solutions

Reporting - Oversee and own with the team the monthly financial close, reporting, financial forecasting, tax, payroll, audit, and digital asset planning

Assist in compliance with all local, state, and international tax requirements and filings

Responsibilities:

· Manage treasury model to forecast, track, and plan currency re-balancing needs and decisions

· Create strategic analysis and plans regarding our financials and investments to support decision-making with Management

· Managing digital currencies

· Continuously developing our controlling and accounting systems

· Ensure cash flow is compatible with project operations by overseeing the organisation's day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal control activities

· Working with internal colleagues and external service providers to ensure businesses remain compliant with the regulatory framework for the jurisdictions they operate within

· Refine and improve existing processes to improve systems/internal controls to ensure company requirements and standards are met, with an underlying focus towards automation

· Analyse, monitor, and manage regulatory capital requirements across all legal entities to allocate capital efficiently and effectively

· Assist Investor Relations with special projects, including the preparation and analysis for the Board, existing and new investors, the evaluation of strategic financing and capital decisions, and the implementation of new products

· Assisting with annual audits and tax return preparation, provide expected cash flow reports

What they need from you:

· Managed Portfolio over $100m USD

· Managed the treasury for a $100m Mcap cryptocurrency startup

· Experience sending and receiving cryptocurrency in a highly secure environment

· Conducted Cryptocurrency Accounting, Auditing, and Taxation best practices

· Developed Financial Risk Assessment Strategies

· 3+ years Working in Venture Capital and Cryptocurrency

· Bachelor's degree in management, accounting or finance or its equivalent

· Experience in financial reporting

· Successfully evaluated, implemented, and integrated financial systems and tools

· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) who enjoys discussing the impact of finance and accounting issues to senior Management and non-finance business partners

· Entrepreneurial and know how to solve problems independently, but you also know when to ask for support

· Results-driven with a high level of ownership, initiative, teamwork, accountability, and integrity

· Strong numeracy and analytical skills

· Highly organised and detail-oriented

· You're excited about blockchain and cryptocurrency and understand the basics

· You have excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills
