Personal Assistant

As PA to the CEO of this premium retail business, you will work closely with senior management including directors to provide administrative support, usually on a one-to-one basis.

We are seeking an energetic, dynamic and experienced all-round superstar PA to take on the trusted task of supporting the CEO to make the best use of his time by handling with secretarial and administrative tasks.

To be impressive in your new role, you will need to be able to show credibility, capability and be able to quickly gain extensive knowledge of the organisation in which you work. You will need to know who key personnel are and understand the organisation's aims and objectives whilst always operating with high degree of discretion and confidentially at this level and become a trusted key member of the team.

Your day to day could involve...

As a PA, you will often act as the CEO’s first point of contact with people from both inside and outside the organisation

Devising and maintaining office systems, including data management and filing

Arranging travel, visas and accommodation and, occasionally, travelling with the manager to take notes or dictation at meetings or to provide general assistance during presentations

Screening phone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate

Meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority

Organising and maintaining diaries and making appointments

Dealing with incoming email and post and often corresponding on behalf of the CEO

Carrying out background research and presenting findings

Producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations

Organising and attending meetings and ensuring the manager is well prepared for meetings

Liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff.

 

Working hours

You will generally work 20 -25 hours per week between 9am to 5pm.It may be necessary to work overtime during peak times and when deadlines are close. There may well be scope to take on more hours as the role develops

Salary between £17,000 - £22,000 DOE
