A fantastic Asian Fusion restaurant is looking to add a Commis Pastry Chef to the Brigade with a great focus on training and development! 

Using top quality ingredients and top of the line equipment to prepare food the restaurant rely on the team to deliver excellence, every time!

Purpose of the role:

To prepare and deliver high quality deserts and pastry items in a busy new concept Pan Asian kitchen.

Also be able to undertake a varied list of food preparation for the kitchen on a daily basis.

The right attitude and skills will make a big difference to our overall food offering, helping us to continuously improve our diversity in market.

Key activities:

·Ensuring that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of highest quality at all times

·Ensuring and controlling levels of guest satisfaction, quality and operations within set food costs on an ongoing basis

·To set and maintain standards of food preparation and service commensurate with the standing of the restaurant by regularly inspecting perishable food items for quality and ensuring the personal grooming and appearance standards are met regarding cleanliness, sanitation and hygiene

·To ensure the department is operated within the appropriate legislation and pertaining records are maintained up to date, including health and safety, hygiene, HACCP and any other legislation as appropriate. Also ensuring that all policies and procedures laid down by the management is implemented

·Carry out any other duties as required by the management
