B2B Telecoms Account Manager

Basic salary £18-24K OTE £24-30K achievable & uncapped

A position has been created within this stable well-established business, in addition to ongoing success they have been able to significantly increase their product portfolio & scope therefore are looking to expand the team to capitalise on this.  An internationally owned, nationally recognised brand with market leading products, sold via an extensive franchise network and have an exciting new position for an office based Account Manager.

B2B Telecoms Account Manager – Job Role: 

  • Utilise the inhouse systems to accurately and effectively process sales in a compliant manner
  • Stay up to date with customer changing staffing profile to ensure all opportunities are maximised
  • Upsell and cross sell services and product portfolio throughout the active base
  • Deliver market leading customer service
  • Achieve sales targets by selling a full spectrum of IT products and services
  • Utilise rapport to build strong & lasting customer relationships
  • Compiling clear and concise summaries and solution reports for both internal and external use
  • Be the point of escalation for customer queries, owning that problem through to resolution
  • Setting up and managing clients budgets including monitoring cost allocations and keeping budgets up to date
  • Maximise sales by up-selling other products from the portfolio

Experience Required:

  • Flexible, hardworking attitude
  • Experience of working with and analysing complex data
  • Demonstrable track record of excelling in account management (junior candidates will be considered at the lower end of the salary spectrum that demonstrate relevant skills & desire to learn)
  • Excellent communication (written & verbal) and listening skills
  • Lack of phone fear, must be able to pickup phone and make difficult calls
  • Self-starter, able to motivate self without someone on your shoulder
  • Able to communicate at all corporate levels
  • Team player, whilst also ability to operate independently, making commercial business decisions as needed
  • Ability to display and provide examples of skills in negotiation, communication, active listening and a sound commercial acumen.
  • Previous mobile telecoms / fixed line / IT sales experience would advantageous but not essential

A full & comprehensive training program is provided both onsite and with suppliers and full support is provided throughout the role.


  • £18-24K basic salary
  • Realistic and achievable bonus structure taking you up to a potential 30K (however is uncapped)
