Automotive parts manufacturer with excellent reputation seek charismatic sales professional to manage and develop existing accounts as well as converting leads to win new business. You will work your patch autonomously, with the flexibility to book your own diary and manage your own time effectively to maximise your time with clients. As in all sales roles, you will need tenacity and resilience but with over 70% of your business coming from existing customers, your key strength will be your ability to build lasting relationships. With a large geographic area to cover, you will sometimes be living out of a suitcase, but will always have the support and guidance from a strong management team who have themselves progressed from within the business. You will sell mainly to motor factor sector, but you will meet people throughout the supply chain and so be as comfortable in front of a small garage owner to the top executives of major brands in the sector. Although experience selling to the automotive sector would be helpful, your attitude, relationship building skills and loyalty will be the things that will stand out in your career history.
