At the age of 22 I had spent nearly five years in the hospitality industry and at this time I chose not to progress in this sector. British Home Stores were famous for their fish and chips and I think the restaurant I worked in on Market St in Manchester used to turnover around £3m a year off the back of this!
I do however still have a passion for cooking (and especially eating) really good food you can see #chrisscupboard on my instagram page, I have the ISO, Investors in People and basic food hygiene qualifications from my time in this sector (OK this was a number of years ago - had!) and no I wouldn’t say I was a great chef but I am a pretty good cook.
I am biased coming from the North West of England (sorry not sorry!), I appreciate there are hundreds of amazing fish and chip restaurants out there - please do drop me a message!

1 - Bispham Kitchen - Red Bank Road, Blackpool. So far myself and my family have been here 11 times in 12 years! Loyal staff, loyal customer base, clean and always well maintained the consistency achieved at Bispham Kitchen is phenomenal. Hopefully we can make it a 12th this October!
Close to our hearts here at Priority is someone I haven't yet had the opportunity to visit; The Chesterford Group although my colleagues do highly recommend it!
James and the team are trailblazing as they have completely reengineered their business in April following the Covid-19 lockdown and now I believe all of their sites are open!
