Job Title: Support Worker
Location: Bishop Auckland, North East
Pay rate: £15 per hour on weekdays & £16 per hour at weekends
Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Shift and schedule: Monday to Friday 08.00 to 16.00

Priority Recruitment are excited to present this brand-new opportunity for a Support Worker in the Bishop Auckland area.
This is an excellent opportunity to help support a gentleman in his late 60s to implement rehabilitation programmes from the multidisciplinary teams, and help support him in his own home and local community.

Salary & Benefits:

Competitive pay rates: £15.00 per hour, £16.00 at weekend.
Monday to Friday 08.00 to 16.00 with very occasional weekends.

Client and Role:

The client is in his mid to late 60s and has an acquired brain injury.

The client requires a Support Worker to assist the rehab programme and the client to develop more independence.

The client is mobile with a walking frame and needs verbal prompts, guidance and minimal assistance to get around.

Some personal care is involved.

Successful Applicant:

Experience working with clients living with brain injuries.
Must be a driver with own vehicle.
Enthusiastic and keen to how to help the client progress.
Committed to caring.
